Several years ago I did actually encounter a ghost on the South Coast of England. It was in the grounds of a stately mansion and I was so focused on taking photographs that for a moment I didn't know what had happened. It was like I was enveloped in a mist for a second and without thinking I just tried to shake it off. It only lasted a moment but the full implication of what had happened didn't hit me until that evening when I was transferring the photos to my laptop. It happened in the front garden leading to the entrance and it was a sunny day which made it all the more strange. It was the only time that has ever happened to me!

Lovely picture by the way, but it triggered this memory so I decided to share.

I thank you for sharing your memories with me, I never saw a ghost myself, just feel a cold wind around me and that started a month later, when my daughter Diana passed away, every morning I had to straighten the pictures on the wall again, I think it was her manner to say hello to me and to let me know, that she's and her brother were still on my side!
