Many years ago, before she became a famed knight, the High General of the Armies of Argonia, Seneca was just a young girl who had graduated from the military academy in the city of Marsan nestled on the banks of Lake Thessendy. As all aspiring-knights were required to do, she set forth on a pre-ordained quest to obtain a certain magic weapon that would prove her worth to the Knighthood. She was told by the wizard of Argon that her quest would not start in the dark jungle that she called home, but somewhere far away. After readying herself, Silowin the Mage cast a spell on her. She felt the glorious heat of the Black Jungle melt away, the sweet humidty of the air flee her body as the teleportation magic was worked. Within moments, she was surrounded by freezing water and clawed her way to the surface. There she saw a world completely alien to the one she knew. Miles and miles of frozen, snow covered land lay before her unbelieving eyes, and all around was the bitter, biting cold. The girl, from a race of humanoid reptiles, soon felt the life ebbing from her body and collapsed some few yards from the frozen lake from which she had crawled. As her eyes began to glaze, she saw a small form making its way toward her, a slight hump of furs from which a vaguely human face appeared...
