Description
Bazze produced this cool model of the U-99, a sub with the noteriety inherent in sending thousand of tonnes of allied shipping to a watery grave along with countless seaman of all nations.
Here I portray this engine of death navigating what must be a shallow water somewhere. Perhaps she is navigating the suez canal on a covert operation off the egyptian coast...Who knows?

Cool render! Love the DOF/depth cue effect as well the light rays! That is awfully shallow water for such a large vessel, which wouldn't have much room to maneuver if it came across a coral reef or rocks or other obstacles! But you captured what must've been an ominous presence lurking just below the water, going about its mysterious business :-)

Amazing scene!
I just looked up the U-99, but unfortunately it is no more available, neither on Renderosity, nor on his site, where it used to be a free model…

Try the way back when machine; go to Bazze's site and find the url where it used to be then go to the way back when machine and you should be able to download it, it's how I got mine last week!

Fabulous work!

Wonderfully done. Shallow water is no place for a U-Boat Captain though. Better to get to deep water pronto.

Unless the u-boat can borrow through mud like a lungfish, lol!
