Description

I feel like such a traitor. The previous day to this I took Katie for her spa day, and of course she loved it as usual. The next day, she was excited because we were going for a ride again, because she thought she'd have another fun day. But, this time she was going to have her dental done, and a fatty mass removed. (actually I didn't know they could do the mass removal at the same time, the vet called me once Katie was under, and of course I said, remove it) Needless to say, she was one unhappy puppy when she found out she'd been tricked. She cried all night the first night. I gave her the pain pill, but she still kept crying. I'm not sure if she was really in pain, or if she was just guilt tripping me. The next day she was back to being her normal self. It didn't hurt that I gave her a doggie ice cream to make up for it. She was in a better mood after the ice cream.

We don't really deserve them do we... There's a small chance that Katie wonders if she did something wrong, and that the surgery was punishment. More cuddles and scritches should do the trick LOL! Doggie love is strong and forever.

Bless her, could be effects of anesthetic, her fatty lump was almost in the same place as Truly's. Far better she had one anesthetic than have to go through another when she is older. Glad she is ok.

Oh, that look says it all! Who says dogs can't talk? There's an entire paragraph in that (lovely) face. But ice-cream always helps..... LOL

What a great capture of your lovely lady here!

She is a beautiful and very smart looking friend! Very nice photo and shared experience. We do love our masters, whether they be dogs or cats. Although cats can be more demanding, I have experienced! LOL.
