I originally created a realism portrait named Starlet back in 2016 that featured this very character putting lipstick on. This new artwork is basically a vastly improved redux of that previous artwork with more detail, depth, better posing, and just overall better in my opinion. If the “starlet” looks familiar, well, that’s because I modeled her face after a rather famous actress and why I named this artwork “starlet”.

Beautiful portrait! It totally looks like her lip is being ever so slightly pressed down by the lipstick as she's applying it! I also love the mirror view! Nice posing, too. Looks very natural, at least based on what I've seen other women do, as I've never been able to wear lipstick myself! :-)
