Depth of field test. The first one I did since I've been back actually came with a depth of field setting in some prop or something that I used. The one with the blood in the water. it was a surprise to me.. I didn't set it up myself. So I messed and fiddled and slapped and tickled some of the controls for depth of field using some info I got while watching a video on it today at work...when I was supposed to be working but wasn't...but when I got home, the settings and all didn't match up to what happens in this version of Daz. The video was several years old. I guess things changed. I'm just blown away by the oily sheen and pores in his nose. That's a level of realism I could have never achieved with Poser. There's some fireflies in the greenery in the background. I haven't bothered with smoothing or any of that to get around that. I have a fancy schmancy top of the line laptop that I'm doing this with, but this laptop doesn't have a DVD drive. So I haven't loaded my old copy of Photoshop onto it yet. So I've been working without any post-work to clean it up since I've gotten back online. But hey. I'm maturing. I put a young man in a scene with all his clothes on. I haven't done that since....well, ever probably.
