Description
My sweet boy Marley got hit by a car last night.
He must have died instantly and did not suffer.
A neighbour found him and told us.
We are so heartbroken.
Rest in peace, my sweet boy.
You were so very dear to us from the moment we brought you home.
You could be naughty but you have been mostly the sweetest boy one could ever wish for.
How I wish I could hold you one more time.

We have 3 adopted stray cats, whom we love dearly. I can only imagine your heartache right now. Amazon sells a book called "I Will See You In Heaven," by Father Jack Wintz. (cat lovers edition). Maybe you'd like to buy it.

My condolences they truely are I think many times more loving and giving than many humans I had my little one that was abused and beaten and I rescued her from a shelter..you would think after the hurt and pain at the hands of someone else she would never trust anyone but was by my side for many years and I still feel the deep loss when she passed

what a beautiful boy. my heart goes out to you, and i know there really are no words that can comfort or ease the sense of loss, so i will just say this, however stupid it may sound: it'll be painful at first, but each time that empty hole that now exists strongly presents itself, take a moment to celebrate the time you had together, celebrate him. i'm not saying to not grieve, but find ways to balance the pain with joyful memories, and/or still do silly things that the two of you did together: like if he still chased string, run around the house on occasion pulling string behind you. like i said, it sounds stupid, but remembering to play from time to time while grieving can sometimes be a balm for a few minutes...

What a horror!! I had two cats hit by a car (both in very calm side streets) and it was pure horror everytime, so I really can very well relate to your. Many people can‘t imagine how important a pet can be and how much you can be attached to them, but they simply are a family member and loosing them can be as hurtful as loosing a dear human.
I wish you all the comfort you can ever get and that the pain eases soon (though your double loss is an awful burden and words always fail in such situations. But believe me, I‘m with you very close in my thoughts. Biiig hug!
