Description
the Buick(Nascar) on the left was purchased from Buddy Baker. the trouble was the Camaro (Busch Series) was faster. on the straights the Camaro could do 195 MPH . the Buick fell way short.I forgot the speed but it was not qualified to run Busch series. they had the idea that they would obtain some of his success racing Nascar .Nascar was running around 212 MPH while Busch (formerly Sportsman Class) was below 200 MPH.
I had a poor camera then and on top of me being a "poor photographer" the results were inferior . I did purchase a SLR camera which gave better fotos. I did sell my racing fotos to the owner and crew

the rights(50%) was sold to the owner of Viafresh orange juice and while his son was racing the Camaro, he was involved in a wreck causing the death of another driver. that was the end of the Camaro

Those are some hot cars. The expense involved in racing them is astronomical. We used to have a lot of locals running dirt track around here. Very awesome to see the locals race.
