Description

This is the third of my 2001 graphics from WAY back. In early 2001, I was inspired to do some 2D work using JASC Paint Shop Pro and scale models I built and photograhed. This is the Airfix Pan Am Orion Shuttle. This was a fairly simple polystyrene kit but one of my favorite builds. Arthur C. Clarke described it as having been ground mounted on a rail launch system with a first stage boost engine. My scene depicts the main engines still firing to lift it to orbit. It would then rendevous with Space Station V to bring Dr. Floyd to his meeting then departure to the Moon via an Aries 1-B Lunar shuttle. Thanks for looking! If you like this, please click "Like."
