It’s time to explore the galaxy again, engage the quantum drive!

While I impatiently await the arrival of the Season 3 premiere of The Orville, whenever that will be can’t come soon enough, I created this artwork of my most recent favorite sci-fi vessel. This one took a while to create though I worked on it off and on. It took a full two days of tinkering to figure out what an alien planet’s atmosphere should look like and then how I should/could render it but, during that two days I worked on other projects as well. :) It was all worth it in the end though as I like my results. Now to rewatch the first two seasons again and hope they are able to resume filming (safely) SOON.

While not in any way astronomically or physically realistic, this is a splendid image, worthy of any sci-fi epic.

Awesome sci-fi tribute to the vessel and the show it's named for! I'm wasn't familiar with the show, but I just looked it up and it sounds like something we'd like! Great job with the space lighting!
