Nice bit of story telling in this. If you want to spice that up you could try using sunlight for illumination to get more sideway shadows, either using a pointlight or the inbuilt sun gadget, which I found difficult to adjust and hence forgot where to find it (I think Dreamlight had a tool for adjusting - or a tut on how to tweak it. Sorry for not being able to be more specific).
