The message sadly read: "Aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie findet die Wiesn 2020 nicht statt. ... 2021 würde man dann aller Voraussicht nach wieder besonders schön ...".
BUT, in smaller venues 'Gemütlichkeit (An expression used to describe the feelings of friendliness, coziness, and the warmth of family and friends gathered together) is still being felt and cherished. Like these revelers! This is not the Hofbräuhaus by any means but it'll work!
"Willkommen im Wies'n 2020!" Gemütlichkeit lives on!

Oktoberfest 2020 has long been cancelled BUT the feeling and appreciation for such a fun event will always be in the hearts of many! Oktoberfest 2021 will be greeted with an even bigger welcome from all those revelers missing the atmosphere of this wonderful time! There is no joy greater than ripping at a plate of Schweinhaxe und Knödel! Washing it all down with a few litres of beer! Thank you for commenting! Peace...
