Description

Hello Rendosians ! I'm back with a composition of mine realized with Poser : it is a tribute to Carlos Ruiz Zafón, a fantastic Spanish writer I discovered lately. In The Shadow of the Wind , he describes a place named "the cemetery of the forgotten books" located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona . A few peoples know about this place and the first time you enter in it, the rule is to choose and protect one of these books. The hero, a little boy named Daniel Sempere, is led there by his father, a bookseller, after the death of the child's mother. The little boy chose a book named The shadow of the Wind that changed his life for ever... I imagined a huge library, filled with old books, dust and spiderwebs when I read this book... ******************* Je dédicace aussi cette image à toi, mon cher Gaius, car je sais combien tu as aimé ce livre. Bon sang ! je suis comblé ! Un souvenir d'un livre qui m'a marqué mais aussi une magnifique image sans oublier l'hommage à C. Ruiz Zafon mort bien trop jeune...dans le 4ème tome de la saga on pouvait presque imaginer une suite...grand merci Señora Raton, c'est magnifique et touchant.

C'est une très belle composition, avec des couleurs chaudes propres à rendre l'atmosphère d'une salle de lecture, inoubliable et accueillante. Un magnifique hommage également à la littérature hispanique, et à un de ses aficionados dont, l'humour reste tout de même bien français. 😎. Chapeau bas, l'artiste, pour cette utilisation de Vue, particulièrement bien maîtrisée. 👍🎩🙂

C'est un concept impressionnant et émouvant. Je sais qu'il y a des mouvements idéologiques globalistes qui essaient de détruire les livres anciens afin de réécrire l'histoire selon leur doctrine. Les vieux livres comptent, aussi; ils sont irremplaçables!
