Conosciuto anche come croce Ansata, è una rappresentazione visiva di un cinturino di sandalo. Le barre orizzontali e verticali della croce tau inferiore rappresentano rispettivamente l’energia femminile e maschile. Questa combinazione di simboli maschili e femminili (la croce e il cerchio) nell’ ankh suggerisce fertilità e potere creativo. Il loop superiore simboleggia anche il sole all’orizzonte e suggerisce reincarnazione e rinascita. ____________________________________________________________ The ankh is the ancient Egyptian symbol that represents life. Also known as the Ansata cross, it is a visual representation of a sandal strap. The horizontal and vertical bars of the lower tau cross respectively represent the feminine and masculine energy. This combination of male and female symbols (the cross and the circle) in the ankh suggests fertility and creative power. The upper loop also symbolizes the sun on the horizon and suggests reincarnation and rebirth.
