Description

I've been told this aspen grove in the Wasatch Mountains is the worlds largest living organism. It was thought at one time to be a big grove of trees, but more modern science has revealed it is all one HUGE plant with inter-connecting roots. Having never seen it before, and having just moved a few miles from it, my wife and I took a drive to see it. IT IS AMAZING. What's more amazing is it is only 28 minutes by car from my house.

I would be spending so much time there. Looks like a great place to get some writing done and just be a part of nature for a while.

Agreed. The smell was remarkable. I've never been in an aspen grove, but like a pine grove, it's a very pleasing smell.

My wife and I are going to make it at least an annual drive to see the fall colors.

What a wonderful thing to see. All separate but interconnected. We should adopt that view of living. Well done.
