Description
Currently, I'm working through updating the Poser Firefly versions of my first 5-6 SBRM sets. My reason for doing this only in Poser is to test the revised model and its old/revised/new morphs with a wide variety of the SBRM library. I think things are working well enough now that I'll probably start next week filling out the sets with the DS versions and getting them closer to release quality. Almost every bird from the 2003-2005 era has required a significant reworking of the texture maps.
To not go completely crazy, every once in a while I render what I'm working on and share the image (provided I'm relatively happy with the end result), so here's the revised Crested Tit from 2005's European Edition set.
The Crested Tit is found in Northern Europe and prefers conifer and mixed conifer forests. It's one of my favorite European birds and I saw my first in the Black Forest (Triberg, Germany).
It eats insects and spiders, conifer seeds and some fruit. It is relatively a common bird but may not be too much longer. Population numbers (depending on the area) have dropped 20-50% in the last two decades. This is due primarily to urbanization of their forage areas.

I am fond of your superb work, and the information you give. I am worrying about the extinction of so many living species, insects, birds, mammals...and the fact that so many people don't mind!!!! Unfortunately, I am a basic modeler and am unable to create 3D animals. I create exclusively vintage architectural or mechanical models.
