Last time I saw "Fifi" was at Beale Air Force Base here in Northern California circa 1978. I actually got a private walk-through and to sit down in the pilots seat. No matter how big this plane looks, it was not made for my 6 ft. 7 in. frame (LOL) I was bent like a freshly picked banana. A definite fond memory, so thanks!

when I went through her at a local air show there was a man along with maybe his son there also. they were ahead of me in line and when they were under the wing close to the fuselage, the young guy's head was touching the wing. every WWII bomber I have been in has very tight quarters
