I have been wanting to use Cybertenko's "Aliens" inspired props. But, it wasn't coming out right in Iray. So, found this cool script from RiverSoft Art, 3DL to Iray. It did the heavy lifting, but the eggs and other things looked flat. Spent some time playing with Diffuse Roughness, Glossy Reflectivity, Glossy Roughness, base bump, and translucency weight...and I'm happy with the eggs, sorta happy with the alien snot that holds the victims in place, sorta happy with the facehuggers, and sorta happy with the blood. But, overall, everything seemed to convert well.
I also ran that script on the "Research_Center" set. It is an Applejack product. It converted pretty well, but I had to supplement lighting. Still, it seemed to have worked out rather well. Same experiment with the base bump and roughness.

Thank you! I'll be surprised if I get many likes...I just don't seem to attract viewers the way some artists do, even doing the nude ladies. I've had a couple of surprises, but mostly, just nice and low viewing numbers. But, I do thank you. I know the awesome stuff you create, so it means a lot to me.
