Description

Heard on a tweet that Eddie's son said his father passed away today of cancer. He was 65. I saw Van Halen twice in my concert days. Once in California at a event called the us festival in 1982 and I took this photo of him at McNichols Arena back about 1984. He was one of the top 4 best guitarist ever! his jamming will be very missed. RIP Eddie.

Awesome tribute to an awesome musician.....I was a Van Halen fan. Makes me think of an old song that I like.....'Rock and Roll Heaven'....'If you believe in forever, and that life is not a one night stand....and there's a rock and roll heaven....and they've got one 'hell' of a band'. Oh, nooo! That‘s really tragic! More and more Music Legends die and today there are no new really good musicians here, who could take the place of those who made my generations music. I completely agree with Rods statement… R.I.P. Eddie!
