I Need a Private Investigator VI
"As I said, his wife will flatter you and they will invite you to a tropical island where you'll party all weekend," Sam begins the explanation. "Has the person who asked you to have dinner with him promised you anything in return?"
"No, and that strikes me as odd. Meet with a married man, and you're telling me he will bring his wife?" Stephanie questions.
"That's right. It's called grooming," Sam explains, "Grooming is what sexual predators do to get more victims."
"WHAT?" Stephanie gasps. After catching her breath, she asks, "Are you telling me they are recruiting me to rape me or do a ménage à trois?"
Stephanie was white as a ghost.
"Not exactly, it's probably more about black mailing your friend. While, yes, they will expect you to engage in sexual activities, this is more likely to use is as a sexual victim while blackmailing your friend."
"I don't want anything to do with THAT," Stephanie firmly states.
