Description
This is the covert art for my soon-to-be-complete novel. I made this entirely in Blender and GIMP, using textures made in GIMP and simulating the gravity lensing effect with Blender, then using GIMP again to make the text and text effects.
Miyako Sogabe joined the Allied Force to experience a semblance of the adventure she once shared with her estranged sister, Keiko Sogabe. Her arrogance and willingness to bend the rules irritated her superiors, but always got the job done. One day, she overplayed her hand…and lost someone she cared about. Now she wants nothing to do with life, but that changes when Brecht Vanderberg, a shy corporate executive, offers her a bodyguard job. With nothing left to lose, she takes the job and gets pulled into a conspiracy that threatens transform Keiko into something else. Now she must not only save Keiko, she must reconcile with her before the very fabric of reality is changed…
