I am an musician and artist. My musical mainstays are Blues, Rock, and Country, Between the three I stay fairly busy recording and playing live performances. I have been playing since the 60's so I have had a rather lengthy career.
As an artist I seem to be mostly into FANTASY ART with side trips into MOOD and SURREAL ART. I use POSER, VUE, BRYCE, and CARARRA. Photoshop is my tool of choice as a post production tool, and rarely do any of my pieces escape from Photoshop untouched. Mixed media works intrigue and challenge me. I love to see pieces come together.

Nicely done with the reflections.

Excellent dagger :) Congrats on the rig, high end gpu's are the bees knees :) I'm still not convinced by poser though.. I found it massively difficult to use .. we'll see how Poser 12 goes.

This is a write back for you, (BUT ALSO FOR BONDWARE). Poser is still a very capable tool but ... Bondware needs to reboot the market. So many developers see the profit in developing for DAZ. POSER 12 should pull out all the stops and merge their release with all of the very solid Poser Content developers and include A LOT of killer content from the best in the Poser developers community. Go overboard guys !!! A grand gift of high quality and variety content (not filler junk) could put you back in the game. Otherwise, I fear Poser is going to continue to loose market share to DAZ on the content development front.

How funny. I'm doing a "mirror" render right now. Good stuff, Dagger.

Congrats on this image and on your patience !

Fantastic reflections, wonderful image!

Very nice work!
Keep considering Poser myself, just as an alternative to Daz...
Might give me an excuse to port some of my stuff over too!
daggerwilldo
Now that is a port I could support. I just commented to another person regarding the market share Poser is losing to Daz. Poser needs people like you to be developing content. You do great work and I imagine you look very seriously that market share before you launch a product. Right now that market share is with Daz. I highly encourage Poser to do a reboot and attract artist such as yourself.

Excellent work.

I see you're putting the new tools to good use!
This is a good experiment to see how the newer hardware can accomplish what the older could not. You might want to try setting up a similar scene in Daz to compare what the reflections there would look like.
Glad to see you are busy!

Wonderful creation fabulous hair your character has.Ive often found no matter how powerful the hard ware you're soon pushing its limits again and then beyond and looking then to the next upgrade

Great image!

How fun to have a much more powerful machine to play with! That's a considerable difference in render times, and I'm betting your experience with this mirror scene now has you imagining other kinds of scenes you wouldn't have even considered before! Cool character. Love her outfit and hair!

Your image is superb. I love it. As for software... well my pc is older than me almost... lol. I use Daz as I am use to it, but know others that prefer poser. I have tried both,... but then to always go back to Daz. But I know Poser actually has more potential even now.

Great image!!! :-)

Yup, still here and breathing so far, and still rendering on a potato. This looks great, my pc is cringing just looking at that hair. That would take forever for me to render.
