Description
My modern-day interpretation of a Chinese deity of youth and rebellion. This scene was so involved to set up, mainly because I was really picky about texturing everything. I did a specular map by hand for the alley pavement and was really happy with it but now I've discovered lots of free asphalt PBR materials on various sites so next time I will try that. First time getting to use Vince Bagna's neon shaders for actual neon and they work well! Had a heck of a time figuring out how to do the flaming tires but I am satisfied. Not sure if it really shows up except in the way it affects the flame but I had to make volumetric smoke rings around the wheels and that helped to deepen the look. All of this was fun to do shaders for. Material room is my favorite part of any Poser image.
