the great Chinese landscape painters (of past dynasties) loved to paint monumental mountains, with little houses and travelers in them...and, though the houses and travelers were small, they were the "stars" of the paintings. The beautiful cottages in this superlative photo are the "stars" of this photo. The light on the rolling grass is gorgeous---it's as if you set up lights (as in a studio). (I know that's not possible, lol---you would need lights hundreds of meters high...) And the background is a cascade of dark trees. What a gorgeous shot---the perfect moment for light and shadow. And you captured restful bright water for the bottom third of your photo. If I lived here, I'd never leave...
