I think the islands aren't the real problem. But are they swimming in milk? Go on, because the idea is good!

_< I realized this after I posted the render. The symmetrical lattices make it appear as if there's a reflection. Well, now that I look at it, the clouds do need a lot of work. Thanks for the tip :)

Something that has to be said: 480x360 is waaaaay to small. Stop posting images in this size please. Let us see your work in a decent size! =)

I agree with LOWTeK! Please push 'em up almost to 800x600! --- Said that, I think your idea is really good, so don't let it aside. Maybe using a bit more transparency in the cloud slab could help...

Nice work, even more trees and detail would be nice. The left nearest island looks odd...too smooth. nice-freqency bump on the water, and purhapes a bit more misty? (volume fog texture on a cube low-lieing near the water?) Nice concept, wheres the dinoflys?

Like what you started. BTW, you asked about all the nudity on the galleries. There are two reasons, both that have to do with "easy." First, consider all the bald renders too -- nude heads, nude bodies, they are easier to render. Second, nude figures get attention in a much easier way.
