Description
[You were right, Wolf. Read my mine you did you did! You crafty devil! LOL!]
After resting for a spell, Janax takes over for Silo on external hull repairs of the spaceship.
He is an old hand at this having had to do it as a youth traveling as an apprentice on a
space freighter for Olivia. The work is progressing nicely. If they can just avoid getting
any more shock waves from the super nova.
Red has almost finished the last splice on the communication antenna on the front of the ship.
They are almost blissfully working along when suddenly, Janax gets a voice trill in his
space intercomm. 'Janax, something is wrong! I'm having the strangest sensations to my
circuits! Are you feeling anything?'
Janax looks around only to notice a green glow begin to envelope the spaceship. What could it
mean?
'Oh no!' trills Red! 'I don't like the look of this! Could be good for us or bad. I just don't
know either way!' he trills over to Janax!
Janax can't see the potential danger from his work vantage point but the green glow grows in
intensity. 'What is it, Red? What's making this green glow?'
'It looks like a tractor beam. There is a very strange looking space ship, possibly a battle
cruiser, way out behind us. That is some tremendous reach on that beam. I can't tell just how
large the ship is but I have a feeling it is immense!' he trills over to Janax.
Jake and Jorge are listening in on the conversation and start looking out the portal windows
to try and see what Red is describing. Suddenly, Jorge utters a loud curse. He has seen this
spaceship's configuration before. In the old archaeoligists notes, there were drawings of
some of the lost race's enemies. This ship looks just like one of those battle cruisers!

They must still be in the right galaxy then - but more trouble! At first glance before reading the text I thought the green glow had something to do with that strong drink they were sipping - hallusinatory smoke ... Another splendid image and great story!
