Macro reduction to almost abstract with some old poem - pretty preachy text but I think it works with the picture

the tale goes back to Aesop (maybe even earlier): And yeah, it's preachy, lol. If I wrote this tale, I'd end it by saying that the ant gathers food while the cricket sings: They both do something important! (Is singing a small thing, Mr. Ant???) But Aesop didn't ask my opinion.....I love your stark black and white here: The poem is (emotionally) black and white, so your photo fits it. It also makes a fine "design" for the poem. Sweet graphic work, Priska. Fine, intuitive work.
