I puzzled over that but thought I wouldn't'say owt. His clothing was a bit tight - but not blue skin - so whoever complained hadn't read the text, or even thought, had they? Too ready to f* complain!

Anyway - sod them - paint him blue or whatever, but please continue the story. There are some really really stupid idiots in charge of this site.

And if this is what is going to be typical, then. even after all these years, I might well say balls to the committee that runs the site and go elsewhere; maybe if they look at what I've spent over the years they might reconsider their unecessarily puritanical attitudes.

I thank you for your support in this incident! Due to all of you taking the time to show you feelings, I can't help but feel appreciated! I am truly humbled by the outpouring of so many and the extra mile RodS went to get this sorted out. I even got apologies from mods for the mistake. I will say that I must be more careful in future to select clothes that look like clothes and not skin, although orange skin on a purple body is quite a mistake to make. At any rate, I have changed my attitude and will be staying. I think I will fine some inspiration for the next story installment by the middle of next week! I greatly appreciate your comments! In so many ways the bring back memories of other times when bad calls were made! There are many fine artists that have left this site for some of the same reasons. But I have been overwhelmed by the support I have gotten from you and others. I even got an apology from some of the mods after they reviewed the image which went a long way. They had to agree there was no intended nudity. Just a very cheap body suit. I confess I was in a hurry when I put the character together and wasn't thinking in the least bit that this overweight big guy would cause any controversy. I have to chuckle to myself now over it. That is what I get for trying to make something work that wasn't meant for as bulky as I wanted to make this guy. So, to cut to the chase, I have decided not to leave the site. I will resume the story line sometime next week. Again, I thank you for your kind support and I greatly am humbled by your kind thoughtfulness in doing so! Hope not to disappoint in the future. Look for a new set of clothes for the big guy when he appears again. LOL. I think I found some things that fit him better and don't make him be mistaken for some nude prude.

Oh man! That stinks! There's been an uneven application of the rules applied, that I've seen. One reason why I opened up a deviantart account, in fact. BUT. My sense of community is here, so I haven't been as active on DA as I'd like. Over there you hit the fave button on a single nude and the next time you log in you're bombarded with a bunch of stuff that make you... uncomfortable. I like a little sexy time, for sure. But man. It can go overboard.

I've been catching up today. I caught wind of some comments on this, but am just now figuring out it was in regards to your work. Even if the alien were nude, it's not like you'd see anything from the POV.

Well I'm not gone yet! The mods (at least a couple) reviewed the offending image and declared that it wasn't as offending as the first mod had indicated so they removed the nudity tag and apologized fore the mistake. That meant a lot to me so after careful thought and reflection and all the kinds words from so many other artists on this site, I am resolved to march on with the story at least for awhile. I think I can come up with a few more chapters yet before the real end or perhaps a beginning for an even newer story? Who knows where these things go. They can become so unpredictable. As you can see from my writing style, it is mostly just stream of conscious. I create the picture and then let it direct my fingers on the keyboard. Sometimes I like what has been written. Sometimes I have to run it through the great programmer in the sky to smooth it up more to my liking. But I do enjoy writing there stories from time to time. And it really brings joy to my heart the anyone actually likes reading and viewing them. Thanks so much for your comments and views. They really mean a great deal to me!

I am glad by the time i got here, the situation has been resolved. I have always had a problem with the puritanical nature of what is considered offending here. Have even been burned by it. Some of the most classical statues if rendered would somehow fail to meet the standards of Renderocity despite being on display in museums for centuries. I am glad they issued an apology because one was owed. Happier still that you are still here with us and continuing your tale, pictures included.
