Description
This is my attempt at recreating the iconic photo of Buzz Aldrin on the moon.
I have searched for a good astronaut suit (moon walk A7-L style), the only one that I have found is the old M3 one :(
I'm not really happy with the result, you can compare with the outstanding works by Andrea Bertaccini & Felix Higueras :

Mission accomplished! I think you have succeeded in creating a perfect capture, of this very memorable moment in time! I like the DOF effect you used in the background as it tends to focus the attention solely on what is happening in the foreground. I like the great detail you put into the reflection on his helmet shield, as it adds so much to the realism of this render. The surface moon texture with the footprints is a nice touch that goes so well with the great looking space suit he is wearing! Excellent and so well done! I like it! :-)
3D Strike
Thank you Johnny, I have worked a lot on this scene, because it should be included on one of my upcoming animations. I have to finish some modeling on the ascent module of the LM. I have tried to import Poser animation into C4D using InterPoser, but it doesn't work well :( I’m looking for other solutions.
