It looks like you have a shirt/blouse mixed in with this, so the lace is surrounded by sensual flowing fabric. "Dentelle" has its root in "dent" (teeth---presumably for the "tooth-like" indentations in the lace). You allowed a big chunk of lace to be clear and detailed (especially full size); then the rest of it rolls into the distance like a dream...And again, you have that beautiful veined surface underneath....These studies in red are beautiful....and the small dabs of gold (buttons, I presume), make sweet contrasts to this deep sensual red....
