Sorry for the repost. Last night while I was at work my desktop computer got fried. With things as they are, it's very unlikely I can get it fixed or replace. I know it's just a machine and software, but it feels to me as if I lost my right arm. Even if I magically had a new computer, there is software and custom work it took me years to try and rebuild. This has happened to me before in the 1990s and it took me five years of scrimping and saving to get a new machine. I just turned 55 and I don't think I have it in me to do it again. I want to thank all the wonderful people I've been lucky enough to meet here and I wish them all the best. And to the people that run Renderosity, I hope that you can continue on to the next century. You have created a fantastic place here in the muck and mire of Cyberspace, a place that is more about the people and art than money. I'm going on, living in Mondainy, but without the creative outlet that things like Poser, Zbrush, and my first love 3D Studio Max, it will be a Half-Life without friends or color.
