Description

[A small 'aside' contribution to his latest story.] Z44-XP/12 (or 'Twelve') has invited three of these droids - originally the same colour as himself - to a special meeting. These are the ones who like Twelve were designed as fully operational sub-space communication systems. [The Z44-XP models were a highly classified experiment by the military on the planet of his construction. There were only about a dozen of them commissioned. They were used in covert operations and once their usefulness was over, most of their memories were wiped and they were released to their own devices.] Twelve knows of one other (called 'Red') currently active. These three discovered what was going to happen, and, to avoid detection and subsequent memory-wiping, had themselves re-painted. They are no longer referred to as Z44-XP but simply by colour - Yellow, Green and Purple. (The blue droid, however, is a basic model originally assigned to police work. This one is now a private investigator.) They are using this Library common room to discuss the formation of a special communications team; the discussion takes place wirelessly so that the other occupants of the room hear nothing of their plans. The first thing they will need will be a Headquarters - either here or on the planet Robotika.
