Nature is so amazing. That they instinctively know to draft off the leading birds 🦅 and that they change their position in the formation as they tire. Wonderful capture.

Gorgeous, but this year especially reminds me of the damage the move to end fossil fuels will be causing to these magnificent beings as they fly into the wind-farm battlefields that have been erected directly in their migratory routes in Texas.

I remember seeing these formations back in North Dakota when I was still on the farm. Huge flocks of geese and cranes would drop down into our corn fields to feast on the remains of the harvest. Good memories and a fine photo! Bravo!
