Description
Here's an update on the Work In Progress I uploaded a few days ago - with a few changes... In the previous version I used a stock photo for the city at night in the background. I've replaced that with one of Dreamland's excellent city block sets. When this appears several pages from now, I'll need a few different camera angles, and it's much easier to do with an actual set. I've also changed the material on her bodysuit from the white vinyl I was using before to a camo material.
Having her face remain in darkness is on purpose. As a couple folks have guessed, it is Miho - code-name Firefly. I kept her face in darkness for a couple reasons (for one she's strongly back-lighted), but primarily to add that feel of mystery that the main character will feel. I'm not going to give anything away, but I'm pretty happy with how it's progressing. There will likely be a few more tweaks.. I didn't put the wolf into this one, but he'll show up in the final version.
This is just a little behind-the-scenes peek into some of my processes and challenges in creating the T.N.A. story. Now, one more quick thing...
My last celebratory image regarding the election results will be my last politically-oriented post, at least for a while. The last couple political jabs I've posted may have cost me a friend (I hope not), and as I've stated before, I don't want it to distract from my TNA story, or my other art. AND... I don't want my gallery to turn into a political boxing match. I've already had a few snarky comments from supporters of the Dark One.. I don't really care - it's a free country as we just affirmed - and they're entitled to their opinions. But it's over, and now..... Back to ART.
As always, thank you all so much for all your support, comments, and friendships over the years! Stay safe, wear those masks, and maybe someday this COVID mess will finally be a memory.

Wow. I have to say this is one of your most striking images I've seen to date! Very cool my friend. Perhaps it should be a big spread, like the old Jack Kirby style spreads from Marvel?

Thanks, buddy! This might very well end up as a tapestry or fleece blanket.. 😁 Just wait 'till you see it in the context of the story.. It'll be a while, but will be worth the wait (I hope! LOL).

Glad you remedied the jump suit situation...I was going to suggest that you make it some sort of patterned fabric, but you beat me to the punch. Waiting with baited breath for the finished product :)

well got a major headache today but no high temps yet. just hope I did not catch the virus from my roommate. guess they got his auto zone cleaned up cause he went back to work today. not sure what to think about him and his dislike for me. I gave him a pretty cool motorcycle clock I purchased, he had it on his shelf for a few days. I observed that he took it off the shelf and put it back in the bag it came in, now it's gone. I presume he gave it to a friend that hates me cause I feel we all should wear masks and called my thought on it like " OPIOIONS ARE LIKE AZZHOLES AND EVERYBODY'S GOT ONE!". he was very punctual on it and loud. have not seen or heard from him in a few months now. so I also lost a very long time friend I guess, since 1967 I've known him. it's a sad and depressing thing. will be waiting for your next page bro.

You're in my prayers, buddy - I too hope you didn't get exposed to this virus. Just stay vigilant, and take care. Sounds like your 'friend' isn't much of one... Wish there was a way you could get out of there.

I am proud to know you through the galleries and maybe sometime we might meet in person. over the years, I have had many negative comments and I simply blew it off as part of being in a gallery

Thank you so much, Richard - you made my day! I really enjoy creating both the art, and doing the writing for the TNA story. I still can't believe I've been doing this for over 10 years!
Yeah, it would be great to hook up sometime, and do some shooting together. That would be so much fun! I can't wait to get back out and do some traveling if this COVID mess ever gets resolved.
