Description

I'm always amazed how 3D is close and closer to reality. I remember those rough and low-poly characters on the 1985 Dire Straits' video clip "Money For Nothing", widely considered to be the first computer-animated characters on the television network and how CGI stuff has changed from then to now. I've tried to get closer to photographic results since my first Poser 4.1 until my current version 9. But now experimenting wit D/S I'm closer to the Uncanny Valley when you watch a CGI model and there's an uncomfortable proximity to reality. I've testing some of my Victoria4 models (I have a big bunch of them in difference of my only recent GF8) with nice results, but... Amylia is the first model that's crossing the frontier Amylia for Victoria 4 by Valery3D SAV Aram Hair by StudioArtVartanian Free Portrait Camera DOF by Cherubit (Renderosity) Thanks for looking ;)

I think what has really helped with CGI people is the addition of realistic skin textures. "Plasticy-looking" skin did not cut it.
