stick: HELLO! ....
My late FATHER served TWO stints in the U.S. ARMY - KOREA & JAPAN ....
I graduated high school in 1969 (back when "FIRE" and "THE WHEEL' just began - SMILES) and took my PHYSICAL in DOWNTOWN DETROIT, MICHIGAN on 10-SEPTEMBER-1970 and passed but was NOT DRAFTED like MANY of my FRIENDS who went to VIETNAM.
MANY came back with PHYSICAL and/or MENTAL 'scars' for LIFE .... A cousin of mine came back, got married, had a SON named AFTER him, and COMMITTED SUICIDE just after that ....
A classmate I rode the SCHOOL BUS with nearby from me, DIED in NAM ..... IT was ANNOUNCED in HOME ROOM to ALL in our high school just before the CLASSES for the DAY started .... SIGHS
SOME GAVE ALL! ... SALUTE! ....
My BEST to YOU and YOURS ....
GOOD HEALTH _- PEACE

I visited the grave of my brother-in-law in Manila at the cemetery for military. he was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Philippine Air Force. I will go soon to a National Cemetery in Oklahoma to honor another brother-in-law. he was a veteran of the US Navy. My sister was interned with him.
really great to see your name again
