Description

On a dark clear night, a lone traveler comes home to his cottage, where he is eagerly awaited by his family to spend a peaceful Christmas at home... Shadow...this is wonderful...absolutely superb work. Excellent detail in depth, color and design. It is all done with an eye to artistic realism and I do believe it is one of your best works. I love the way the cottage and lights reflect off the ice. Exceptional Work!

great job! besides showing great mastery of composition and focus (as expected) the mood and colors are simply luscious! ... happy holidays to you 'shad', i hope to see you around in 2003... suffice it to say, your 2002 gallery has been quite a revelation and inspiration! that 'labyrinth' one in particular made quite a mark and still happily haunts my memory... ;-))

Lovely cottage. Looks like they are on some very slippy ice there. Hope they don't hurt themself through that. Nice work.

I'm no big fan of winters - but you have made this evening scene with a warmth and appeal that brings a special air that almost makes me like snow...I said 'almost'...lol.
