I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

This is freeeekin' cool ! 'Bendy,' = Mission accomplished. If there was "Pose of The Year" Awards you would be in the competition. As to mood, you captured something great. I would say this looks like WW II film footage from the battle for the South Pacific. Who knew you were a War Corespondent back then. . Well done.
As to posting the color version...DON'T. It would just be embarrassed by this one. .

Awesome and surprising! I did not expect this at all...
Looks great all round, and as for the Spacegirl set, thanks for getting "extreme" with it; I keep harping on about it, I know, but with the amount of time I spent getting it right, it's nice to see it taken advantage of!
The image certainly captures that 50's/ 60's style of promotional material, the only thing that would make it more "commercial" would be the addition of some cheesy film or book title in an over the top font style. Beautiful work my friend!
LyleAryn
Thank you, and THANK YOU. Doing all these has been a lot of fun!
