In The Arms Of An Angel He was a feral cat who had lived his life outdoors with other feral cats. He never knew the warmth of a house or the wonderful feeling of being snuggled close to a human giving him love. He and the other cats started hanging out in the backyard of an elderly woman who had house cats and loved cats. When the woman noticed the cats being around more often she started to feed them because she knew they were hungry. He came every day to eat and when the fall weather was beginning to get colder the women opened the door to a greenhouse that was no longer used and put straw so the cats could come in out of the weather and sleep on the warm straw when winter arrived. One fall day the woman came out into her yard and the little cat was just laying on the ground, not moving or running under the fence to the yard next door. So the lady walked up close to him and she could see he was breathing but she knew something was wrong with him. She called some people who worked with feral cats and knew better than she did how to care for them. One of the TNR ladies took him home with her and did her best to save him but it was not to be, so he crossed over Rainbow Bridge. When God met the little cat He said "You never got to know love on earth except that of the old woman from afar so I'm assigning you to a child angel who will cuddle and love you forever". The little cat was so happy when he met his angel, she cuddled him and gave him kisses and she ever gave him a name, Sammie. Sammie is now spending eternity in the arms of an angel and he now knows love and has a name. Copyright @ M.
