I made an error picking the wrong name plate. it is a large museum including a huge collection of race cars and antiques, so I was in a hurry to see every thing I could . I had a long way to drive until I stopped at a motel

I totally agree with ikke.evc this is for sure a Saab J32 Lansen and in no way a Aermacchi.
Though they do not corrode away in the californian Sun, they sadly get pale and blunt by the UV rays of the sun.
Nice shot though.
