Still working on her "Real" name, but here she is in her more normal attire.
I spent WAY too much time figuring out if someone with big afro hair could tuck it under a hood like she has in the previous picture, lol. Apparently, they can! They can wear wigs, too. So, good to go! (Seriously, in a world of superheroes, THAT was my problem!)
Originally, Nebula had Xell hair. Which I love. However, it does look a bit dated. So I played around with different sets. Loaded Big Afro on a whim. And it just CLICKED.
Originally Nebula was a freebie character called "Ella" that I THINK I found here. And I still like her. But in this case, i just sorta accidentally happened upon an almost identical character when i was playing around in Daz and decided to embrace the changes. This is AC_Erin from Most Digital Creations, loaded up with Sahana's skin from Daz. I picked up Erin in a daze. I'm still not sure what I was thinking when I made the purchase - I love AC_Tina, but I'm planning for a trip and so have no reason to be spending money on a character. Especially without a good reason. Apparently I decided, on a whim, to get Erin.
So, naturally, I decided to use her to base my superhero on. Only she wasn't quite jibing with me. I think it was when I loaded the preview and saw how much her skin was catching the light. I decided to try a different skin mat, since I like the outfit I had and didn't want to mess with the pose or dforce again.(I ended up doing both - she had a different outfit at that point.) Anyway, I reloaded the character to do her "Normie" look. This is the result. I put in a subtle nod to her origin, with the T-Shirt. I've also decided that her earrings light up when clipped to her, but not because of batteries, if you catch my drift.
This has been a process of a couple days, and I have to say I'm happy with the results. And happy that I'm still able to just sit down and follow my whims. There's been a couple days recently where I was experiencing some serious self-doubt.
I hope you like her, and I'll be sure to update once she has a name!
Next, I got some more stuff to showcase, and I'm working on a villain for the GM of the Superhero game. So I expect I'll be doing at least a post a day for a little bit. I got this excellent new set from brain1969 I want to show off, and I want to continue the "Renderosity Showcase" series I started.

Hair is always an issue. Never works like the movies, when the heroine takes off their crash helmet and three feet of blonde locks tumble out.

Thank you. I don't have do smiles where the teeth are showing, but in this case it just felt right. Mom says it looks kinda wicked, and seeing as how she's the daughter of a villain, I felt that hit the perfect spot.
