Description

Greek Mythology is quite clear that the gaze of Medusa turns one to stone. Facing her straight-on is not a wise idea. Which leads to the logical conclusion that it's safest to approach her from the rear. Posted under "fantasy" rather than "mythology" because I seriously doubt this is what Homer and all the other ancients had in mind with their storytelling. Enjoy!

It's an old V4 set that still works very well.

I suspect that is exactly what at least some old Greeks had in mind (well, probably only the male part of the population anyway). Though in mythology that idea doesn't prevail, if I remember correctly and she is a rather tragic character and more of a pawn for the Greek Gods.

You could be right. I attended a show at the Met in NYC a few years ago about Medusa, and there was considerable diversity in how she was portrayed even in classical days.

She is a fantastic character. I really like the pose and the camera approach you took. Very nicely done.

Much of what you see is from the Medusa Bundle, an old V4 package from Daz, and still the best-looking version of snake hair IMHO. The character morphs are a mix of different P3Design characters. I don't remember exactly which I used. I'm glad you liked her, my friend.
