Description

There is such a rich history for the "Resolute Desk" in the Oval Office. It was given to America, (President Rutherford B. Hayes at the time), by Queen Victoria in 1880. It was built from the English oak timbers of the HMS Resolute. Many presidents have used it, including FDR, who had the center panel added to hide his braces. It's a sacred honor to sit there and be the voice of the American people. When I saw the press photo of our current "President" sitting at the tiny little desk, I actually thought.....how appropriate. That's why I've named it the "Dissolute Desk". ***Dissolute- "lacking in restraint, lecherous, unprincipled, depraved, corrupt...."

ROTFL....This is so gloriously wonderful, Linda. When I saw the monster sitting behind that tiny desk (which looks more like a stenographer's table/desk), I thought how appropriate--this fraudulent monster has never really been POTUS in deed, and never deserved to sit behind the Resolute! Considering all his disgusting and dangerous personal traits, "Dissolute" is all he ever deserves. I like your details especially the portrait of who else but the narcissist himself. Especially like those itsy-bitsy hands to match his itsy-bitsy brain to complement the itsy-bitsy table:)
