Your image is nice, but the real reason I write to you is because of the name you gave to the picture. What's the meaning of the title in relation to the picture? The reason I ask is because, in a Catholic Monastery, the ringing of the Angelus bell is the call to morning prayers for the monks. Your title even said "In the Distance", like it was something the girls heard far off.

Thank you very much.I named my image in reference to the painting by Jean-François Millet, the Angelus. A peasant couple, in the middle of the fields, suspends their activities while listening to the angelus, as evening falls. Despite the identification of the context, this painting retains all the mystery of its interpretation. The light and my two characters reminded me of this composition, the bells "in the distance" remind them that they must hurry before nightfall. At the same time, this end of the day, undoubtedly in the summer months, brings a climate of peace to the scene. That is all.

Cool scene! I like that you laid a carpet out for the one on the ground ;-)

Thank you very much. My image is also inspired by that of Norman Rockwell, fixing a flat.

Ah!
