In Montréal during the summer months, you can go to Ile Saint Helene and see a re-enactment of grenadiers from the era depicted here defending the fort. Your splendid render takes me back to my home city. I never felt as comfortable anywhere else.

Excellent render - and contedesfees is quite right about the re-enactments at the fort on Ile Saint-Helene. The uniforms used at the fort resemble very much the one in your render.
