Date Finalized: November 25, 2020 Rendered in Poser 12 with Superfly Render Engine I wanted to create an artwork to show Shelby and Maia as the two best friends that they are. So here they are taking a selfie in their shared college dorm room before each head off on their summer break and the unknown adventures ahead of them. I originally created an artwork like this in 2019 but I’ve made several changes to the characters and dorm room set since then so I thought I would update this artwork with all those changes. I plan on rendering another image from the point of view of the camera phone from this very scene to post on Shelby’s Instagram soon. While creating this scene, I realized Maia’s previous hair model had absolutely no movement morphs so I had to change it to the model you see here which thankfully fits her personality and has LOTS of morphs. I also had to change Shelby's hair while creating this after I found out that her previously hair model had an error in the back that I couldn't fix. Oh well, this longer hair fits her better and has more morphs as well. :) I'm just glad I found this out now before I started the novel illustrations… which is one of the reasons I create these promo artworks; to test out my characters and techniques for the novel!
