This is Samuel Marcus. I picked him up ten years ago on my birthday. He fit in my hand, and then threw up on me during the ride home. He was diagnosed with diabetes less than a year ago. Lately he's been having trouble walking, and can't control his bladder anymore. His eyesight is nearly gone also. This morning his legs collapsed, and he couldn't get up. I had to carry him to the car, and then into the vet. The vet says I'll probably have to decide if he's going to be crossing the Rainbow Bridge today. I said not yet, I wanted full x-rays and blood work to make 100% certain there is nothing else I can do for him. I'm waiting for the vet to call now. I hope my next post has Sam at home in his bed, but it isn't looking good. I swear, 2020 just won't freaking end soon enough for me.
