Description
I'm sure most already know this but putting notes here for me. LOL Add ground plane, scale to the size you want for your shadow area. Go to Materials room , click on advanced, on the far right click on set up shadow catcher. Back to pose window. Use settings under properties shown on the image to the right.

In poser 10 I select GROUND prop then in material room at bottom of Poser Material select shadow catch only. Now back in Pose room go to Display menu under Object select Wire Frame. Now you can see the ground plane in preview to match the ground in the picture to the wire frame where the shadows will show up. The wire frame will be invisible in your render.
