I was fortunate to have met a WWII glider pilot(Richard) formerly a volunteer at a museum here(decorated by the queen for his service) from the UK that flew to the Pegasus Bridge and the son (Richard) of another Glider pilot that flew to the Pegasus Bridge also. the son and his wife a "Filipina" a daughter one of the old ladies that I help sometimes. I had plans on going to the UK and the son was going to go with me to Scotland. however he died from cancer before I could make plans to go. the son Richard and his lovely wife visited here 2-3 times
