We all face the fact at some point that we lose someone who is very dear to us. However, for me it often seems even more difficult to lose a beloved pet, because there are many people around us who have no empathy, who cannot feel the pain, who cannot understand that the loss of a beloved pet is the loss of a family member. Whenever I lost one of my dear pets and was dejected, there were enough of those who pulled a face, shrugged their shoulders and instead of a "heartfelt condolences" (or preferably shut their mouths completely) just the completely inappropriate sentence: "yes, come now. After all, it was only a cat/dog" over their lips...
But it is hard to lose a beloved animal that has accompanied you for years and it hurts a lot - I know this very well.
In this sense I wish you much strength and comfort and many people around you who understand you. Yes, I also hope to see my beloved animals once again and to take them in my arms...
Be blessed
